Biography:Joanne first joined McMaster University in 1998, and has worked in Public Relations, the Centre for Continuing Education and most recently in the School of Nursing. She has been involved in all aspects of educational programming –from development, implementation, advising and marketing to evaluation and strategic review. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Communication Studies, a post-grad diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications, and she is currently working on her Masters of Higher Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. She has a particular interest in online education and emerging learning technologies.
